Solace runs a healthcare marketplace matching Medicare patients with nurses, doctors and care specialists who advocate for them across all 50 U.S. states.
Solace is a healthcare technology company founded in 2022 that operates a marketplace connecting patients and families with expert healthcare advocates. Through the Solace Advocacy Marketplace, patients - particularly those covered by Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans - are matched with experienced nurses, doctors and care specialists who work directly for them rather than for insurers or hospitals. Advocates coordinate care, find specialists, schedule appointments, handle insurance approvals, translate medical information and push for treatments.
The company reports having helped more than 200,000 patients achieve better health outcomes and operates across all 50 U.S. states. It raised a $130m Series C round and is valued at more than $1bn. Technical work spans healthcare technology, marketplace platforms and patient-advocate matching, supporting a two-sided service at national scale.
Solace is fully remote. Its mission derives from the founder's personal experience: his mother, a radiologist, struggled to navigate care for pancreatic cancer. The company is led by CEO Jeremy Gurewitz and CPO Sara Sargent, and is built around a patient-first orientation in which advocates are employed on behalf of patients, not insurance companies or hospitals.
