Alliance Health

Alliance Health is a public managed care organization based in Morrisville, North Carolina. Founded in 2012, it administers physical, behavioral and pharmacy healthcare for Medicaid-eligible and uninsured individuals with complex mental illnesses, substance use disorders and long-term care needs. Its Medicaid Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disability Tailored Plan serves some 470,000 people across a service area of more than 3.5 million residents in seven counties: Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Mecklenburg, Orange and Wake.

The organization's work spans managed care, behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disability services, traumatic brain injury care, pharmacy management and Medicaid administration. It contracts with a network of more than 4,000 private providers to deliver these services.
