Under direct supervision, this position will serve as either part of an engine crew suppressing wildland fire performing general project work as assigned to include fuels reduction work, fire prevention presentations, and other duties or will serve as a crew member on a 20 person Hand Crew as a firefighter performing fire suppression and/or fuels management duties.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Valid Arizona Drivers License
- Must have completed S-130 Firefighter Training, S-190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior, L-180 Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service
- NWCG Firefighter Type 2 Qualified within one week of hire
