Looking for a fun and energetic summer job where you can be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests? Gulf Islands Waterpark is hiring friendly and motivated individuals to join our Crew Member team for the summer season! We have a variety of exciting roles available in different departments, and we can't wait for you to shine in your position!

All of our Crew Members are expected to follow our ANCHORs:

As a Slide Attendant, you could be working as a:

o Ground Crew controlling access to our slide towers

o Rider Dispatch at the top of the waterslides

o Tube Control and Loading

o Park Clean Up of Tubes and Lifejackets

As a Shallow Water Lifeguard, you could be working as a: 

o Lifeguard on the lazy river, bottom of slides, and kids' areas

o Ground Crew controlling access to our slide towers

o Park Clean Up of Tubes and Lifejackets

As a Special Facilities Lifeguard you could be working as a: 

o Lifeguard on the wave pool, lazy river, bottom of slides, and kids' areas

o Rider Dispatch at the top of the waterslides

o Ground Crew controlling access to our slide towers

o Park Clean Up of Tubes and Lifejackets

What We Are Looking for in Our Crew Members:

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, during the summer season.

Pay Rates

• Shallow Water Lifeguard - $7.50/hr. (limited positions available)
• Special Facilities Lifeguard - $8.25/hr. or more based on experience and
• qualifications
• Lifeguards 18+ - starting pay rate of $9.75
• Plus, add an End-of-Season bonus of $1 per hour for each hour worked, if you stay on until the end of the season!
