Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join our Civil Division asap. This position plays a key role in the success of our earthworks and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and skilled in operating dozers in a variety of civil construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dozer equipment to move, level, and grade earth, rock, and other materials on civil construction sites.
- Follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications with precision.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
- Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a dozer operator in civil construction required.
- GPS experience would be an asset (Topcon or Trimble)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of grades, slopes, and earthmoving techniques.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in civil construction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and shift rotations as required.
