The company's principal product is the NuScale Power Module, a small modular reactor designed to deliver baseload energy for applications including AI infrastructure, data centres and renewable energy integration. The design became the first, and so far only, SMR to receive approval from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, in 2020. NuScale subsequently became the first SMR technology provider to list publicly, in 2022.
