NoTraffic
Israeli mobility-technology firm, founded in 2017, offering an AI platform combining edge sensors, radar, cameras and cloud management to modernize signalized intersections.
NoTraffic is an Israeli mobility-technology company, founded in 2017, that develops an AI-powered platform for modernizing signalized intersections. Its AI Mobility Platform combines edge devices, smart sensors, radar and camera detection, sensor fusion, AI-driven analytics, V2X connectivity and cloud-based intersection management into a single system for traffic signals. The engineering work spans machine learning, computer vision, edge computing and intelligent transportation systems.
The system is approved and operating in 40 US states and has been deployed by more than 200 agencies across the United States and Canada. Reported outcomes include a deployment at more than 80 intersections in Tucson, Arizona, which per NVIDIA cut rush-hour road delays by up to 46% and was followed by an approximately 80% reduction in red-light runners. A deployment at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver reduced pedestrian delay by up to 40% and saved 74 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
NoTraffic works directly with transportation agencies and partners. It maintains a 24/7 operations center in Overland Park, Kansas, which serves as its US headquarters and supports deployments across North America; the company was founded in Israel. For a typical city of 100,000 residents, the company estimates annual savings of more than 12 tons of CO2 and $45m in economic productivity.
