Bonapolia

Bonapolia is a family-owned IT staffing company based in Lisbon, founded in 2023 by Bogdan Furundzhi. It provides staff augmentation and dedicated teams to product companies and IT consultancies across Europe and the United States. The firm places senior engineers into existing client teams, handling sourcing, screening, contracts, administration and replacements while the client retains control of priorities and technical decisions. It also assembles dedicated teams around a product or technical workstream.

Since 2023 the company has placed more than 50 senior engineers for around ten clients across six countries. Its technical domains cover IT recruitment and staffing, talent sourcing and screening, workforce operations, contract and administration management, and replacement staffing. It is run by a five-person team; the founder has more than two decades of experience in recruitment and workforce operations.

The originating idea dates to 2018 and operated within a partnership from 2019 before incorporating as an independent company in 2023. Every shortlist is reviewed internally. The company deliberately avoids body-shop bench logic and applies the operating discipline of large outstaffing programmes to IT talent services.
