Altoida

Altoida builds an FDA-cleared Digital NeuroMarker Platform that uses augmented reality, AI and smart-device sensors to detect and monitor cognitive decline.

Altoida is a medical technology company working in neurological diagnostics. Its Digital NeuroMarker Platform detects and monitors cognitive decline using augmented reality, artificial intelligence and sensors built into ordinary smart devices. The system is an FDA-cleared and CE Mark-approved medical device, and is used across the United States and Europe in fields including neurology, brain health and Alzheimer's disease diagnostics.

The platform delivers a ten-minute, self-administered assessment. During neuroscience-driven tasks that simulate everyday activities, it captures motion, speech and touch data and analyses it with machine-learning models to surface digital biomarkers. Altoida reports accuracy of up to 94% in identifying Alzheimer's disease, potentially up to ten years before symptoms appear.

The technical work spans augmented reality, AI and machine learning, sensor data analytics, digital biomarkers and neuroscience. The evidence base includes more than 12 peer-reviewed publications and over 200 independent studies. The company describes its aim as shifting brain-health diagnostics from reactive to proactive, with an emphasis on precision neurology and earlier clinical intervention.
