Tandem Health

Tandem Health is a European healthtech company founded in 2023. It produces an AI-powered medical scribe that generates clinical notes automatically during patient consultations, reducing the documentation burden on clinicians. The company reports that the tool saves clinicians one to two hours a day and is designed by a team that includes doctors, psychologists and physiotherapists.

Its product, the Tandem AI Medical Scribe, integrates with major EHR systems and supports more than 50 medical specialties. It is used by over 5,000 healthcare organisations across more than seven countries, including Sweden, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy and the DACH region. Through a partnership with Accurx, it reaches some 200,000 NHS staff. The company says it reached category leadership in under 12 months from launch.

Tandem Health works in clinical natural language processing, ambient speech-to-text documentation, EHR integration and healthcare regulatory compliance. Its scribe holds MDR Class IIa certification, which the company describes as a first in Europe for an AI assistant used in clinical documentation. The company raised €50m in a Series A round.
