Introduction

Role description

To support daily departmental operations while gaining practical experience aligned with their field of study in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Belville Factory

Duration: 12 months’ Workplace Learning

Duties & Responsibilities

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily operations in allocated department
  • Support supervisors and team members with tasks and projects
  • Gain practical exposure to manufacturing processes
  • Follow safety standards and company procedures
  • Complete assigned training and workplace assessments

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Currently enrolled with a recognised, accredited institution
  • Requires WIL/experiential training to graduate with relevant P1 and P2 letter from a university of technology institution or experiental letter from a TVET College

 

Field of Exposure

  • Mechanical Engineering (Ref: WILME)

 

Programme Conditions & Expectations

  • Must be registered with a reputable, accredited institution
  • Required to attend work and comply with all conditions specified in the contract
  • Must enter into a 12-month fixed-term workplace contract for experiential training
  • Must perform duties relevant to field of study as outlined in the training schedule (or agreed revised programme)
