UI Lead

We are looking for a UI Lead to own the design and development of real-time, data-intensive

web applications for a large-scale IoT platform supporting 50,000+ devices. The role

involves leading an Angular-based frontend, building low-latency real-time dashboards,

and collaborating closely with backend, DevOps, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of Angular applications for IoT dashboards

and fleet management

• Design real-time visualization components consuming data via WebSockets /

SignalR

• Build scalable UI frameworks for:

• Live telemetry dashboards

• Device & fleet management screens

• Alerts, reports, and historical analytics

• Optimize frontend performance for high-frequency real-time updates (<1s latency)

• Define UI coding standards, component libraries, and best practices

• Collaborate with backend teams on Kafka-driven APIs and data contracts

• Work with UX designers to translate designs into reusable components

• Mentor frontend developers and conduct code reviews

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness

• 6-8 years in UI / Frontend development, with 2+ years in a technical leadership

role

• Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, RxJS

• Experience building real-time UIs using WebSockets / SignalR

• Expertise in state management (NgRx / RxJS patterns)

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS

• Experience with data-intensive dashboards and charts

• REST API integration and event-driven UI patterns

• Performance optimization for large datasets and frequent UI updates

Good to Have

• Experience with IoT, real-time systems, or telemetry platforms

• Knowledge of Kafka-based backend architectures

• Mapping and GIS libraries (Mapbox/Leaflet/OpenLayers)

• Data visualization libraries (ApexCharts/D3.js/ECharts/uPlot)

• Micro-frontend architecture experience

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds
