Responsible for the design, build and support of corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems
Implement secure and fault-tolerant solutions
Provide technical leadership, support and architectural direction across multiple teams and domains
Server as an internal escalation point
Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape
Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects
Migrate systems from on-premise to co-location sites to cloud
Mentor less senior staff
Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution
Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise
Develop solutions for international expansion
Requirements
8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage.
Strong expertise with Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Hands-on experience with VMware (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter) and Okta SSO/MFA.
Cloud-first experience with AWS and Azure compute and storage services.
Experience with scripting, patch deployment, monitoring tools, and infrastructure maintenance.
Proven experience designing and supporting disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
Routing and switching experience; Cisco Meraki a plus.
Experience working in SOX-regulated environments; healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or biotech experience a plus.
Experience managing vendors and managed service providers.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, 24x7 international environment (US & EMEA), including after-hours work and compensated on-call rotation.
Service-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Disciplined, project-oriented approach with strong documentation practices.
Minimum AA degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications (Cisco, AWS, Microsoft/O365, Windows) are a plus.
