Introduction

Rewarding opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work with Draughtsman and Engineers to design and model systems in CAD/Revit. • Review, Detail, and annotate design drawings. • Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs) from construction drawings • Develop accurate BOMs for tender purposes • Develop solutions based on client requirements • Work closely with site staff to incorporate site requirements into designs. • Accurately track project costs • Keep up to date and implement appropriate company, industry and safety standards • Maintain records and compile project documentation. • Must be willing to travel to site when necessary (South Africa & Africa)

Desired Experience & Qualification

B-Eng / BSc Mechanical

5 to 8 years HVAC design experience

Engineering experience in large projects covering relevant divisional requirements

Knowledge of the following systems and associated mechanical equipment in the health environment and other will be beneficial – HVAC & R

A Passion for new technology and implementation

Project management experience

Good Electrical knowledge

Keen interest in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer systems
