Description

We are seeking a compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis.

This roving position is based from our Scarborough hub and will see you support our aged care consumers to assess individual capabilities, set realistic, achievable goals and implement interventions to optimise the individual’s independence and function in their own home. 

Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with our consumers.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Physiotherapy assessment and intervention across a range of programs;
  • Implementation of physiotherapy plans through the application of appropriate therapeutic techniques for individuals or groups;
  • Education and training, including clients, staff and multidisciplinary teams;
  • Responding to new referrals and the changing needs of clients;


Skills And Experiences

Now... to ensure our consumers can get to work with you, it is essential you hold: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy;; 
  • AHPRA registration; 
  • Experience within an aged care, community or similar setting;
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and 
  • Full working rights in Australia.
