What You'll Be Doing

As our newest lifeguard, you'll be the guardian angel of our pool, ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable swimming experience. Your days will be filled with:

• Monitoring pool areas and maintaining constant surveillance of swimmers
• Responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations
• Performing water rescues and providing first aid when needed
• Enforcing pool rules in a friendly but firm manner
• Conducting regular pool safety checks and equipment inspections
• Assisting with pool maintenance and cleaning duties
• Providing excellent customer service to all pool users
• Helping with swimming lessons and pool programs when required

What We're Looking For

We'd love to meet someone who brings both skills and personality to the role! Here's what would make you perfect for our team:

• Current Bronze Medallion or equivalent lifeguarding certification
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong swimming abilities and water confidence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Physical fitness and stamina for long periods of surveillance
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Friendly, approachable personality with a genuine care for others' safety
