Do you want to be a HGV Mechanic in Ireland?

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of heavy goods vehicles and trailers, ensuring safety and reliability across our fleet.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Complete accurate service documentation and reports.
  • Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Trade qualification in HGV Mechanics
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working on HGVs and trailers.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG experience an advantage).
  • Full clean driving license (HGV license preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package & Remuneration

Salary depending on experience.
