Job Title: Golf Range Attendant

Position Summary

The Golf Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked practice facility. This position supports daily golf operations through range maintenance, guest assistance, and facility upkeep in a fast‑paced outdoor environment. Reliability, teamwork, and customer service are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the practice facility, including practice balls, tees, bag stands, caddies, and ball pyramids
  • Pick, clean, sort, and restock range balls throughout the day to maintain proper inventory
  • Provide friendly, courteous service to all guests, including bag handling and club cleaning
  • Walk practice tee areas to assist golfers and uphold service standards
  • Maintain cart staging, bag drop, podium, cart storage, and wash-down areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Assist with golf tournaments, outings, and special events
  • Help educate guests on course policies, cart rules, pace of play, and safety guidelines
  • May assist with directing the start of play
  • Maintain accurate records for golf club rentals; service and clean rental clubs upon return
  • Assist with general upkeep of the clubhouse, parking lot, and surrounding grounds
  • Follow safe work practices at all times
  • Attend staff meetings as required

Employment Requirements

  • Minimum age: 16 years old
  • One month of experience or training preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Valid driver’s license with no moving violations within the past three years

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Work regularly outdoors and around moving equipment
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team‑oriented environment
