工作职责
• Manages the day- to-day operation of the Formulation Pilot Plant (FPP)
• Delivers the agreed development and production program in full compliance with all applicable HSE legislation and quality standards
• Leads the FPP team
• Defines and implements process, equipment, and infrastructure change projects within FPP
• Ensures FPP equipment and infrastructure is maintained in accordance with the maintenance schedule and the Syngenta Maintenance Policy and Standards
• Leads a program for evaluation and introduction of new formulation manufacturing technology into FPP
• Ensures HSE standards are managed and applied to all operations and activities within FPP

• Drive efficiency improvements to increase the capacity for trial work within FPP
• Identifies, evaluates and introduces innovative and performance-changing manufacturing technologies into FPP
• Manages Product Risk Assessments for all activities within FPP ensuring compliance with Syngenta HSE standards
• Performance Management of the FPP team
• Ensure that the FPP team are fully trained to do the job required of them
• Manage the cleaning, maintenance and inspection programs within FPP
• Set high standards and expectations for safe working within FPP. Ensure that the safety evaluation process is rigorously applied and managed, that the FPP team is fully engaged all HSE initiatives
• Develop collaborative working between laboratory and FPP, between Formulation Engineering and FPP, and between Formulation Fill and Pack and FPP.
• Ensure that all systems and procedures within FPP are fully described and documented, and that full compliance with these systems and procedures is maintained.
• Ensure full compliance of all FPP operations with internal manufacturing site policies and relevant governmental regulations.
• Master degree or higher in Chemical engineering, Chemistry or a relevant Engineering discipline
• Alternatively a lower level of qualification plus at least five years successful track record in a manufacturing or pilot plant environment
• Knowledge of formulation chemistry and formulation manufacturing processes gained through more than two years of experience in the development of crop protection products
