Elevate your career and unlock your potential by stepping into the role of Flow Technician at our Heathwood Distribution Centre, where you will be at the forefront of driving excellence in our warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the Flow Coordinator, you’ll join a team of 8 and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations across the Distribution Centre - from guiding warehouse activities to monitoring automation systems within our ASRS environment.
Please note: This is a permanent Night Shift role, working 6:00pm - 6:00am within a 24/7 operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support the warehouse team to complete tasks in a safe environment
• Foster a strong sense of safety and chain of responsibility within the team
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including team training and task prioritisation
• Develop warehouse processes and training materials
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly resource planning
• Ensure warehouse tasks (inbound, pick, stage, and dispatch) are executed in the correct order
• Oversee operations in an automated ASRS warehouse environment
About You
We are looking for a driven and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced Distribution Centre environment and enjoys working collaboratively to support safe and efficient warehouse operations for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Experience in FMCG or a fast-paced Distribution Centre in a Planning, Scheduling, Supervisor, or Coordinator role
• Experience working with systems such as SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• A strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
• The ability to foster positive and trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with HMI panels or warehouse automation systems would be highly regarded
