The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of highly specialised diagnostic equipment.
Working across Brisbane and surrounding areas (with some travel as required), you will ensure equipment performance is optimised while delivering a consistently high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding on-site technical support and customer service
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair diagnostic instrumentation
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate service records using CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery
- Provide customer feedback and insights to support continuous improvement
About You
You are a proactive and solutions-focused engineer who thrives in a field-based role and enjoys working directly with customers.
You will bring:
- A qualification in Biomedical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in field service (ideally within medical devices or diagnostics)
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
- Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence
