Evening Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide orthopaedic evening cover once per week (3-hour shift) in our acute hospital setting. This is a great opportunity to maintain and further develop your acute orthopaedic skills while benefiting from casual rates and after-hours loading.

About the Role

This dedicated orthopedic evening shift supports post-operative patients requiring early mobilisation and respiratory management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mobilising post-operative orthopaedic patients (e.g., joint replacements, spinal surgery, ACL reconstruction)
• Providing respiratory assessment and treatment as required
• Supporting enhanced recovery and early mobilisation pathways
• Liaising closely with nursing and medical teams to ensure safe overnight care
• Maintaining clear and accurate clinical documentation

This role offers a focused caseload and the opportunity to work independently within a supportive multidisciplinary team in a well-established acute hospital environment.

About You

• AHPRA registered Physiotherapist
• Experienced in acute orthopaedic physiotherapy
• Confident working autonomously
• Strong clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• After hour or hospital night cover experience is highly regarded

Requirements

• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
