About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and completing preventative maintenance to ensure safety, reliability, and minimal downtime across the fleet.

Hourly Pay: $32 - $38

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, braking systems, fuel systems, and hydraulics
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake adjustments, alternators, etc.)
  • Inspect and replace components such as gaskets and hydraulic parts
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, fuel systems, and hydraulics
  • Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

  • ASE certification (or similar)
  • Experience working on commercial fleet vehicles
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic systems
  • Additional training in hydraulics or fuel systems
