Archbishop Curley High School is seeking a passionate, experienced, and visionary Varsity Head Baseball Coach to lead one of the premier programs in the MIAA A Conference. We are looking for a leader who is committed to developing student-athletes both competitively and personally, while building and sustaining a championship culture across all levels of the program.
Located in Baltimore, Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic, college-preparatory institution rooted in the Franciscan tradition. The school is dedicated to the development of the “Curley Man,” who is challenged to reach his maximum academic and personal potential, becoming a man of faith, character, discipline, and service to others.
Essential Functions
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the baseball program
- Develop a competitive program within the MIAA A Conference
- Build and sustain a strong culture centered on accountability, discipline, and teamwork
- Coordinate player development across Varsity, JV, and Freshman/Sophomore levels
- Foster relationships with youth and feeder programs to strengthen long-term program success
- Promote student-athlete growth academically, athletically, and personally
- Assist players with college recruitment opportunities and exposure
- Organize practices, offseason development, and game preparation
- Serve as a positive representative of Archbishop Curley High School and its mission
Position Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the game of baseball
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture
- Experience developing players and preparing student-athletes for collegiate opportunities
- Strong recruiting and relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to establishing and maintaining a strong youth pipeline and feeder system
- Ability to oversee and manage all levels of the program, including Varsity, JV, and Freshman/Sophomore teams
- Willingness to obtain coaching certification if not already certified
Pay Range: $4,000 - $5,000, per season
