- Signs in and out for keys and radios.
- Completes work orders and responds to guest calls with limited supervision.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance.
- Maintains communication with supervisors to ensure all the needed materials, tools and supplies are available and on order.
- Maintains basic knowledge of hotel TV, A/C and Lock systems.
- Inspect and operate equipment.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and/or power tools and reassemble equipment.
- Performs semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Washes and treats surfaces with oil and appropriate solvents.
- Touch up surfaces, using brushes, spray gun or rollers.
- Tidy work areas to maintain a clean safe job environment.
- Cover surfaces with laminated plastic covering material.
- Select tools, equipment and materials from storage and transport to work site.
- Maintains a sound knowledge of the company’s facilities and other services.
- Works with other team members, passing along knowledge and skills to help them in their development.
- Continuously strive for perfection, demonstrating keen interest in learning and personal development to ensure proper skills necessary to perform the job.
