Adrenaline Driven Adventures is Western Colorado’s fastest-growing adventure rental and tour company! We are the only Polaris Adventures Outfitter for the entire area and are expanding quickly. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy learning new skills.


We expect the very best from our employees as far as customer service is concerned. Previous office experience is required as well as some familiarity with UTVs/ATVs & Dirt Bikes, Snowmobiles, Trucks, Trailers & other Fleet Vehicles.


Hours: Opening and Closing Shifts, Weekends Required, Seasonal & Part-Time

Pay: $15-$18/hour based on experience



Position Summary

The Adventure Technician ensures that our facilities, fleet, and grounds are always safe, clean, and adventure-ready. This role blends property and grounds maintenance with customer-facing responsibilities—keeping our retail store, shop, and outdoor areas in top condition while preparing, servicing, and delivering adventure equipment. The Adventure Technician acts as both a behind-the-scenes caretaker and a front-line ambassador, ensuring every customer’s first and last impression is exceptional.


Job Responsibilities

Fleet & Shop Operations

  • Wash, fuel, and prep machines using tablet checklists.
  • Take before-and-after pictures of all rentals.
  • Perform safety checks and check-in/out rental vehicles.
  • Conduct safety briefs with customers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading fleet vehicles.
  • Assist with rescues and recoveries as needed.
  • Inspect, clean, and communicate fleet quality to Shop Director.
  • Clean air filters daily, chain lube dirt bikes, and check tire pressures.
  • Clean helmets and gear after each use.
  • Tidy and organize the rental room.
  • Clean and prep new and used adventure machines for rental or delivery.
  • Perform basic maintenance and light repairs (oil changes, tires, fluids, etc.).
  • Power wash and detail equipment; maintain cleaning stations.
  • Inspect returned rentals for damage; document and report issues.
  • Keep shop tools, trucks, and equipment in excellent working order.
  • Clean service department bays and perform laundry (gear, shop towels, etc.).

Facility & Grounds

  • Maintain cleanliness of retail store, restrooms, parking lot, and receiving areas.
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Organize and clean lot and wash bay, keeping areas free of weeds, debris, and trash.
  • Remove trash to exterior bins daily.
  • Perform seasonal maintenance (lawn care, landscaping, pest control, snow removal, grading).
  • Operate equipment such as power sweepers, forklifts, and lawnmowers.
  • Apply 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Sweep, Standardize, Sustain) to keep facilities safe and efficient.

Customer Service & Support

  • Greet customers professionally and assist with machine handoff.
  • Instruct customers on safe machine operation, reviewing manufacturer Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
  • Provide support to store, rental, and tour operations (stocking, cleaning, customer assistance).
  • Handle basic troubleshooting and resolve customer concerns with courtesy.
  • Act as an ambassador for ADAC by promoting other services and adventures.
  • Attend trade shows and sponsored events to represent the company.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years customer service experience.
  • 1+ years machine operation or light mechanical experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/move 60+ lbs. and work in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Comfortable with standing, walking, climbing, bending, and using hands throughout shifts.
  • Ability to work in loud, fast-paced environments indoors and outdoors.
