7 th Grade Baseball Coach

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

 Previous middle school baseball coaching experience preferred

 Must have the ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic

Director

 Must be able to relate well to middle school students, parents, school personnel and the

general public

 Must be knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations

 Must strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanship

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

 Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.

 Be able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.

 Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.

 Assume the responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used.

 Conduct structured practices that follow the guidelines of the Athletic Department.

 Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times.

 Assist the Athletic Director as needed.

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

COMPENSATION: According to the GEA Master Agreement/Schedule B Non-staff coaches are

hired through GECS
