Tellus Education Group

Tellus Education Group is a British Council accredited online English school. It delivers live, interactive English courses to children aged 5-12, taught by British-qualified teachers and built around Oxford University Press curriculum materials. Lessons are run in small groups and last 30 minutes.

The teaching programme is divided into three age bands: 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12. The youngest cohort focuses on spoken English, confidence and communication through games, storytelling and role-play; the two older cohorts use Oxford University Press materials with an emphasis on speaking, confidence and communication. The group draws on over 42 years of teaching experience and states a focus on building positive learning habits alongside academic progress.

The schools operate from Plymouth and Portsmouth in the UK, with students enrolled online from around the world. Lessons are delivered through encrypted and monitored live video classrooms using Tencent RTC integration. The company maintains strict UK Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and describes its digital classroom environment as safe and supportive, with an emphasis on small-group interaction.

Its technical work spans online education and e-learning, live interactive video classrooms, encrypted communications and edtech platform integration.
