Ready

Ready builds the Utility Intelligence Platform, helping state broadband offices, regulators and utility operators plan, finance and manage critical infrastructure and broadband programmes.

Ready is an American software company, founded in 2020 and backed by Y Combinator, that builds the Utility Intelligence Platform. The platform is used by state broadband offices, regulators, and utility operators to plan, finance, and manage critical infrastructure, centralising reporting, compliance, and oversight for broadband programmes. Its customers include nine state broadband offices - in New York, Louisiana, Ohio, Hawaii, California, Indiana, Texas, Arizona and Mississippi - and the platform manages billions of dollars in grants.

Alongside the core platform, Ready provides BEAD post-award execution tools, covering automated reporting, challenge process coordination and performance testing for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment programme. The company's technical work spans utility infrastructure software, broadband programme management, automated reporting and compliance, performance testing, fintech and capital access platforms, and government technology.

Ready operates in the broadband, utilities, telecommunications and government sectors, working with state agencies and rural internet service providers. The company states a mission of addressing the digital divide in the United States, with a focus on supporting smaller ISPs serving rural communities and on helping families access utility services at lower cost.
