Q-Tech

Q-Tech is an IT recruitment and headhunting firm founded in 1999. From offices in Barcelona and Madrid, it searches for and selects technological profiles on behalf of its clients, working across five technological areas and drawing on a worldwide network of IT professionals. The company serves startups, scale-ups and multinational corporations, and reports more than 1,000 clients over its lifetime.

Its work is organised around two services: end-to-end search and selection processes tailored to each company, and specialised headhunting of senior IT professionals. Q-Tech describes its method as artisanal, prioritising the quality of candidates over their number; a typical proposal may consist of a single candidate. The firm states that it completes at least one selection process every day and conducts roughly 1,500 interviews with IT professionals a year.

Q-Tech employs 18 consultants. Its headhunters are expected to understand technical roles well enough to assess candidate capabilities directly. The firm has operated for more than 25 years.
