The platform supports multiple runtimes - PHP, Python, Node.js, Go, Java and Ruby - and includes horizontal scaling, built-in observability and infrastructure automation. More than 16,000 developers use it, among them customers such as Adobe and UNICEF. The company provides 24x7 global support.
The business traces its roots to The Commerce Guys, founded in 2009; it was spun out as Platform.sh in 2015. It employs more than 250 people, who call themselves Upsunners, across 43 countries.
