Jobs for Lebanon is a citizen-led initiative and online job marketplace, founded in 2020 and launched in March 2020, that connects Lebanese professionals with employers worldwide. Its stated purpose is to generate remote and diaspora-led employment for Lebanese talent in the midst of the country's economic crisis, addressing brain drain by mobilising a global Lebanese diaspora of some 16 million people.
The Jobs for Lebanon Platform is built on SmartRecruiters' enterprise recruitment technology and features AI-powered matching for both employers and job seekers. Technical work spans online marketplace infrastructure, recruitment technology, AI-driven job matching and remote-work enablement. The initiative is volunteer-driven and mission-oriented, with activity concentrated in Lebanon and among employers and diaspora communities globally.
Reported scale figures include more than 50,000 professionals connected with employers, over 38,000 candidates on the platform, 8,700+ job opportunities posted and 1,500+ successful hires.
