Specialized CRO providing clinical trial services from early-phase to late-phase research, focused on dermatology and rheumatology across a global investigator network.
Indero is a specialized contract research organisation (CRO) providing clinical trial services across the drug development lifecycle, with a dual therapeutic focus on dermatology and rheumatology. Founded in 2000, the company traces its origins to Innovaderm, a dermatology research site established in Montreal, and has since grown into a global CRO operating across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. It rebranded to the Indero name in March 2025 to reflect its expanded dual therapeutic focus.
Its services span early-phase translational research through late-phase clinical trials, drawing on more than 500 clinical trials supported, an investigator network of over 3,100 and coverage of more than 30 indications. The company treats dermatology and rheumatology as intrinsically linked fields, citing shared inflammatory pathways and a resulting depth of insight into immune-mediated diseases. Alongside its CRO services, Indero operates Innovaderm, a dedicated clinical research site, and Clinago, a patient recruitment platform.
Scientific work is supported by in-house research and development initiatives and by contributions to peer-reviewed publications. The firm's model rests on therapeutic specialisation rather than breadth: two areas of focus, pursued across the full trial lifecycle and an international footprint of research sites and investigators.
