Dealer Tire is a family-owned distributor of replacement tires and parts, founded in 1918 and grown from a single retail store into an international operation with a presence in the United States and China. The company manages tire and parts programmes for more than 20 automotive OEMs and sells to over 10,000 automotive dealerships, having sold more than 60 million tyres to date.
Technology is central to that business. More than 100 developers build and maintain a dealer ordering portal that runs at 99.99% uptime, alongside e-commerce and online tyre store platforms that embed directly into dealer websites to generate leads. Other technical work spans dealership system integration, supply chain and logistics technology, and retail selling software, including the proprietary Dynamic Retail Selling Guide (DRSG™), a tool that integrates with dealership systems to help close more tyre sales at the point of sale.
The distribution side of the operation comprises 42 distribution centres, achieving a fill rate of over 99% and same-day or next-day delivery in 98% of cases. Commercial coverage is delivered through more than 400 regional and account managers and over 40 carline specialists, with an emphasis on long-term relationships with dealers.
