Ampeers Energy GmbH

Ampeers Energy GmbH is a SaaS company founded in 2019 as a spin-off of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. It builds a platform that guides real estate companies from the initial analysis of a building portfolio through to the full implementation of climate-neutral energy strategies. The approach combines software with engineering expertise, covering CO2 footprint analysis, investment prioritisation based on avoidance costs, and the coordination of modernisation projects for residential and commercial properties.

The technical work spans several domains: SaaS platform development, CO2 footprint modelling, and the design and deployment of decentralised energy systems, including photovoltaic installations and microgrids. The platform is used to rank energy investments and to steer complete building energy-efficiency programmes, with the stated aim of cutting CO2 emissions by more than 90% while generating a return for building owners.

The company reports more than 150 customers in the housing industry and roughly 300,000 housing units analysed, with a geographic presence across Europe. Its verticals include real estate, property management, residential and commercial buildings, and energy and climate technology.
