Aboon is an AI-native third-party administration platform for workplace retirement plans. Founded in 2023 by Nick Gavronsky and Amy Ouellette and headquartered in New York, the company builds software that helps financial advisors design, launch and manage 401(k) and other employer-sponsored plans across the full plan lifecycle. It raised $17.5m in seed funding.

The Aboon Platform combines automated workflows with dedicated human expertise. Its functions include AI-driven plan design, digital compliance testing, flexible contribution and matching options, recordkeeper integrations and employer plan management, alongside access to retirement specialists. The company reports that the platform can generate 401(k) proposals in minutes, cuts recordkeeper onboarding from months to weeks, and allows an advisor to sell a first plan in a single day and go live with a recordkeeper within one week. A second product, Aboon Workplace, is described as forthcoming and is intended for employer workplace retirement plan management.

According to the company, some 40,000 advisors across the United States use the platform, and it has saved them more than 11,200 days of work. Aboon's stated aim is to give advisors more time to win and service retirement-plan business, and to widen access to retirement plans for American business owners and their employees.
