Take on a key shutdown role as a Special Class Welder supporting major operations across Pinjarra and Wagerup in the South West. This is your chance to be part of a reliable DIDO crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance work on two of the region’s most important sites. Bring your welding expertise, strong safety focus, and teamwork mindset — and we’ll back you with consistent shutdown opportunities, great site support, and a team that values your skills.

The Role

Monday to Friday, DIDO, Dayshift and Nightshift

• Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
• Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes 
• Perform the welding of steel components in all positions
• Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures
• Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW 
• Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components
• Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task

About You

•    Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mandatory) 

•    HRWL EWP (Mandatory) 
•    Construction White Card
•    Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
•    Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
•    Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
•    Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
•    Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
