What does this role involve?
As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative product team responsible for developing and supporting modern, cloud‑based desktop and web applications.
You’ll play a key role in designing and building scalable WebAPIs that form the backbone of our platforms.
You’ll get involved in a broad mix of development work, including RESTful APIs, cloud payment gateways and the delivery of cloud‑native microservices.
You’ll be working with cloud technologies, ideally AWS to create secure, reliable and well‑architected solutions.
From enhancing existing systems to contributing to new product development, you’ll be making a meaningful impact as part of a highly collaborative team within Procode.
Who are we looking for?
Your experience as a Software Engineer includes hands‑on use of C#, backed by a genuine desire to keep learning and improving your craft.
Your knowledge of the wider .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and microservices, puts you in a great position to grow and take on new challenges.
Your exposure to cloud technologies, ideally AWS, means you enjoy building and working with modern, scalable systems.
Your experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment and thrive on solving problems, collaborating with others and delivering high‑quality software.
Your communication skills allow you to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. This role will also support you in gaining or expanding experience with modern testing practices such as TDD and BDD.
And what is the technical environment?
C#, .NET Core, API's RESTful Services, JSON, Docker, GIT (Bitbucket), OOP, SOLID, TDD, BDD, DDD, Cloud deployment and microservices, NoSQL and Oracle (SQL – PL/SQL), AWS & Azure
This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7)
To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
