Job Description
Site Engineer – Civil & Retaining Walls
Acciona is a global leader in the development and delivery of sustainable infrastructure. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with strong civil construction and retaining wall experience to join our project team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of civil works on a major infrastructure project, with a key focus on retaining wall construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities
- Set out works and manage construction in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Deliver retaining wall structures (e.g. pre-cast, reinforced concrete, shotcrete, anchored, MSE or rock walls)
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews
- Ensure HSE, quality, and environmental requirements are met
- Assist with cost tracking, progress reporting, and program management
- Maintain accurate QA and as-built documentation
Required Skills and Competencies
About You:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Proven experience with retaining wall construction
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and site controls
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- White Card (essential)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
**Due to the requirements of this project you would need to be eligible to obtain baseline Defence clearance**
