Job Title: Service Plumber (Residential & Commercial)
Location: Jacksonville, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced service environment and takes pride in delivering top-quality work and exceptional customer service.

The Service Plumber will be responsible for operating a fully equipped service truck, diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, and generating a minimum of $5,000 in weekly sales. This individual will communicate directly with customers, assess their needs, provide accurate pricing using an established price book, complete repairs or installations, and collect payment upon completion.

A key component of this role is performing a complimentary plumbing inspection at each job to identify additional opportunities and ensure the customer’s system is functioning properly. Technicians will utilize Housecall Pro to manage jobs and dispatch to their next service call efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems

• Install and service water heaters, fixtures, pipes, valves, and drainage systems

• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions

• Perform repairs, replacements, and new installations

• Conduct thorough plumbing inspections to identify potential issues

• Educate customers and recommend additional services or products

• Perform leak detection and system testing

• Deliver excellent customer service with clear and professional communication

• Accurately complete service reports and maintain job records

• Collect payment and ensure a seamless customer experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of plumbing experience (service-focused preferred)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing

• Ability to upsell services through inspections and customer education

• Comfortable using service software (Housecall Pro experience is a plus)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
