Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and data pipelines
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute ML projects aligned with business goals
- Optimize and maintain production ML systems for scalability, performance, and reliability using frameworks such as Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Apply advanced statistical modeling, deep learning, NLP, and anomaly detection techniques to solve complex business problems
- Translate technical architectures and ML results into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences
- Support experimental design, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation to ensure robust and accurate ML solutions
- Mentor peers and contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data engineering, or a related quantitative field, with proven delivery of end-to-end ML solutions
- Expert knowledge of classical ML, deep learning, NLP, and anomaly detection, with the ability to select appropriate methods for specific problems
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, with clean, maintainable, production-ready coding practices
- Strong SQL skills and experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Beam and data lakehouse formats like BigQuery, Snowflake, Iceberg, or Parquet
- Experience deploying ML solutions in production, ideally using cloud platforms such as GCP and container orchestration tools
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred: experience with graph databases, collaborative filtering, large-scale sentiment analysis, Typescript or Golang, CICD pipelines, infrastructure as code, video game industry, or startup environments
