The Senior BIM Technician will produce detailed rebar and structural drawings for Switzerland infrastructure projects, including retaining structures, protective galleries/underpasses, and other civil works. The role involves handling multiple projects, guiding team members, setting priorities, and contributing strong CAD/BIM expertise—especially within bridge and infrastructure design. The candidate will be trained in Allplan and work closely with engineers to deliver accurate, standards compliant design outputs.
Produce detailed rebar and structural drawings using WSP CAD/BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
Set up projects by defining drawing strategy, formats, numbering systems, and efficient production workflows.
Coordinate closely with Project Engineers to receive timely inputs, raise queries, review outputs, and ensure accuracy and buildability.
Manage multiple projects, plan priorities, track deadlines, and oversee quality, document control, registers, and WoW compliance.
Develop, maintain, and update CAD/BIM templates, libraries, standard details, and Revit families as required.
Review engineering sketches for conflicts or missing information and maintain an active RFI log.
Support and mentor junior staff—especially in Allplan—while documenting skill development across all CAD/BIM platforms.
Share knowledge within GCC teams and actively contribute to WSP India CAD/BIM forums.
Ensure all work follows QA, CDM, archiving guidelines, and project filing structures.

Mandatory Skills
Diploma in Civil with 7–9 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Working Knowledge in REVIT, MicroStation, CadsRC, RCD, or similar CAD/BIM tools.
Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and guide team members.
Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a proactive, open mindset.
Prior experience in similar roles within infrastructure/structural design.
Desired Skills
Competence in T & I Structures – CadsRC/Concrete /AutoCAD/Civil3D
Minimum Diploma in Civil with 7+ years of relevant experience.
It is desirable that the candidate has obtained professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same.
