Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Physiotherapist Team Lead (HP5) to join us in a Permanent, Full-time capacity. Based at our Springfield campus, this is a career-defining opportunity in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. This role will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening early 2026. As Mater’s first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds, ICU, maternity, emergency and surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
The Physiotherapy department will service both public and private patients across the co-located Mater Hospital Springfield and Mater Private Hospital Springfield. The physiotherapy department will service a range of specialties such as ICU, medical, surgical, maternity, NICU, paediatrics, emergency, and outpatients.
Salary range: $73.12 - $76.30 (HP5) per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As the Physiotherapist Team Leader, you will combine advanced clinical practice with leadership and service development responsibilities to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across Mater Springfield.
You will guide and support a dedicated team of physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants to provide safe, innovative, and efficient clinical services, aligned with Mater’s mission, vision, and values.
