We are hiring a Physiotherapist\-Part Time<\/b> to lead a Nursing home Maryfield nursing home Dublin, Ireland.<\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/span><\/span> <\/div>

  • Following initial baseline assessments, provide ongoing one\-to\-one physiotherapy sessions to residents.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Use standardised, validated outcome measures to reassess, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans as required.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain accurate, up\-to\-date clinical documentation for all residents and clients.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Work closely with nursing staff to integrate physiotherapy interventions into individualised care plans.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Plan and deliver group exercise and fitness classes twice weekly.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Actively participate in regular multidisciplinary Falls Meetings and complete all associated documentation.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Deliver care to a predominantly mobile and active older population, as well as geriatric residents with varying physical and cognitive conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

  • Candidates must be registered with CORU.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Hold a valid visa, work permit, or permission to work in Ireland.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (preferred)​<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments, develop individualised treatment plans, and deliver effective physiotherapy interventions to all referred residents.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure residents’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality are respected at all times.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Liaise effectively with residents, families\/carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support a holistic approach to care.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all members of the care team.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Keep accurate, up\-to\-date clinical records in line with legal, professional, and data collection requirements.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Attend team meetings and other service\-related meetings as required.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • In the interest of COVID\-19 safety, candidates must not be employed in other healthcare facilities.<\/span>
