About the role and where you will be working:

Our Allied Health team at Southern Cross East Fremantle are seeking a full time Physiotherapist to join our team! 

Southern Cross Health and Wellness Centre is a state-of-the-art exercise, rehabilitation and hydrotherapy facility. We provide person-centered care and strive to enhance the quality of life and independence of our clients through a variety of different referral streams.

Your responsibilities will focus on utilising the highest end of your clinical skillset to provide assessment, clinical reasoning and evidence-based intervention to our clients. You will have multiple opportunities to build rapport with our clients and focus on partnering with them to achieve their goals.

We’ll also be asking you to:

Deliver high-quality evidence based and outcome measured physiotherapy services to our clients including;

  • Acute and Chronic pain management
  • Functional based reablement
  • Falls prevention/Recovery programs
  • Chronic Disease and Multimorbidity Management
  • Prescription of mobility aids
  • Communicating effectively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to enhance the wellbeing of clients
  • Contributing to quality improvements in Allied Health Team

About you:

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with at least 3 years experience.  You will also need a strong commitment to person centred care and able to work both independently and within a team. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in our residents' lives.
