Mechanical Process Engineer is required by an established Bulk Materials Handling company in Johannesburg. Minimum 5 years of working experience. Process design including pneumatic conveying and materials handling equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Mechanical Process Engineer (Bulk Materials Handling)

Randburg

Support and assist with the engineering and process design from quotation through to project execution in the bulk material handling field. Finding solutions to process-related issues.

Minimum requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering Qualification (Diploma, BTech or BEng)
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in bulk materials handling, and process design.
  • P&ID
Responsibilities:
  • Process design including pneumatic conveying, plants and materials handling equipment.
  • Assist the project sales team in designing a process to suit customer requirements and create a preliminary P&ID sketch
  • Assist with checking costing and quotations
  • Draw up detailed P&ID’s
  • Assist with the initial assessment of process-related issues with the sales engineer
