You bring:
- Minimum 4 years of welding experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Certifications in ASME Section IX
- Strong skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints, specs, and welding diagrams
- Knowledge of welding inspection methods and quality standards
- Solid understanding of safety practices and OSHA requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
What You’ll Do
- Perform welding on industrial mechanical projects including fabrication, installation, and repair
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Prepare materials and ensure proper fit-up before welding
- Execute welds using appropriate techniques based on project requirements
- Maintain high quality standards and ensure weld integrity
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment
- Document work completed, materials used, and inspections
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to keep projects moving
