This position requires relocation to the Netherlands.
The client is looking for an experienced hands-on Maintenance or Automation Technician/ Millwright to join their team dedicated to delivering top-notch maintenance solutions. The successful candidate will get to work on mechanical and electrical technical issues hands-on. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults. Candidate must be under the age of 28 for VISA purposes and able to speak Afrikaans fluently to be able to learn Dutch.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician

What we are looking for:
  • Studies completed in Millwright or similar technician education
  • All-round technician (Millwright with both mechanical and electrical experience)
  • Strong electrical background
  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience
  • Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting PLC's and variable speed drives is a plus
  • NQF 4 – 5 level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a technical role, such as breakdown service technician or maintenance technician
  • Preferred industry experience: food, pharma, heavy industry, (Petro)chemistry, manufacturing industry
  • Additional training and experience in process technology and automation.
  • Candidate must be under the age of 28 for VISA purposes.
  • Be able to speak Afrikaans fluently to be able to learn Dutch.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance management services, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Help customers by ensuring their equipment runs smoothly and stays up to date with the latest technology.
  • Make sure customers can rely on us for repairs, maintenance, and any future adjustments they may need.
