Maintenance Fitter/ Boilermaker

We’re working with a well-established quarry operation in the Nerang area, looking for a hands-on Maintenance Boilermaker to keep plant and equipment running reliably across the site.
This is not a workshop job — it’s site-based, practical, and suits someone who enjoys being out on the tools, solving problems and getting stuck in.
What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on fixed quarry plant and equipment
• Welding, fabrication and structural repairs on crushers, conveyors and associated plant
• Identifying faults and responding quickly to breakdowns
• Completing preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Working closely with operators and site teams to keep production moving
• Contributing to continuous improvement and plant reliability

What you’ll bring

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder
• Experience in heavy industry (quarries, mining, concrete, asphalt or similar highly regarded)
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
• A practical, no-nonsense approach to maintenance
• Commitment to safety and doing the job properly
