Lifeguard

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor guests in and around swimming pools and all water facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations across recreational water areas
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when required
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of pool decks, equipment, and surrounding areas
• Conduct routine inspections of lifesaving equipment and report any deficiencies
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding pool schedules, safety procedures, and recreational activities
• Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and maintenance reports
• Support the Recreation & Spa team in delivering exceptional guest experiences

Requirements

• Valid Lifeguard certification
• CPR & First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay alert and act quickly in emergency situations
• Good level of physical fitness
